Delivery and Returns Information

Delivery

We endeavour to send your order within 48 hours of receipt, subject to payment card authorisation and stock availability.  If for any reason an item is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified by email. 

Parcels will be sent by courier on either a 3 or 5 day service.

Delivery charges are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

All deliveries will be made according to the carriers' standard procedures. Please note that where a signature is required, orders cannot be sent to PO box addresses. You may be required to sign for your parcel when it is delivered. If you are not at home when the parcel arrives, a card will be left for you to arrange an alternative delivery date with the courier.  Should you require clarification on what happens if no-one is available to receive the goods, and/or a signature is required, please contact the carrier direct.

We currently only send to the United Kingdom, but please enquire if you would like us to quote for international shipping.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with the goods you have purchased for any reason you may return them within 7 working days from receipt of the order.  We cannot refund special orders. All goods must be returned in their original packaging and unused.  We will refund the full cost of the product/s purchased, any postage incurred by you will not be refunded.  Please email info@thehouseoflinen.com before returning goods so we can inform you of the address to return to.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty Goods

All products are checked thoroughly before packing and prior to dispatch, to ensure they are neither damaged nor faulty. Damage can sometimes occur in transit although every precaution is taken to ensure that products are packed correctly. Any package which arrives, damaged, will be followed-up with the carrier as a result of poor or inadequate handling in transit. Should you receive your package in a damaged state it is essential that you contact us within 5 days. We will then make arrangements with you to return the goods for either replacement or full refund.
